MANAGING DIRECTOR /OPERATIONS MANAGER – POULTRY
ROBYN RICHARDS
Robyn has worked in the vocational education and training sector for nearly 20 years. During this time, she has worked in the public TAFE and private provider sectors, before starting her own training business in 2010. Robyn started 4 Up Skilling with the aim to provide greater flexibility to her industry clients, as well as innovative design in training and assessment that not only engages but inspires her students along the learning journey. At 4 Up Skilling, Robyn works closely with the Australian Poultry industry. She has demonstrated an excellent capacity to develop strong relationships with industry stakeholders, while solidifying a reputation as a quality niche provider through the provision of technical training to the national poultry sectors (layer & broiler).
Robyn holds a Graduate Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She has several industry qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Agriculture; a Certificate III in Poultry Production; a Diploma of Vet Nursing (surgical); a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing; and a Certificate III in Equine Nursing. She also has a Certificate IV in Frontline Management; and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Education & Training; Robyn is a DISC accredited trainer and a Health & Safety Representative.
Robyn is currently undertaking a Masters of Adult Education, consistent with her passion for training, and commitment to life-long learning.
TRAINING CONSULTANT – PORK
JACINTA CLARK – Joined 4 Up Skilling in 2019. Jacinta has a 12 year history as a trainer & assessor and Senior Educator in the vocational education and training sector, within the Primary industries division. She also has extensive experience in the pork industry, working in the sector for 20 years, undertaking various roles such as Piggery Attendant, Leading Hand, Technical Services Manager, Breeding Manager and Training Manager.
Jacinta holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training Practice. She also has an Associate Diploma in Applied Science – Farm Production.
Jacinta’s key attributes have been the dedication and care she shows to her students. She has a talent for tailoring highly relevant and personalised training plan for her clients and trainees.
TRAINING CONSULTANT – CHEMICALS
ROBERT SIRRELL has worked for many years in the agriculture sector as a farm manager and began training and assessing in 2007. He has worked for 4 Up Skilling as a contracted registered AusChem Trainer since 2016 and in 2020 he has joined our team to facilitate training across some of our key industry programs. He brings not only his experience, but exceptional organisational skills and high standards of customer care – supporting students and ensuring their learning journey is the best it can be.
Rob has his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and holds an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science, as well as his Agricultural Chemical User’s Permit.
FINANCE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
JENNY MARTIN brings her passion for accounting to 4 Up Skilling! As a qualified chartered accountant, Jenny has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and manages 4 Up Skilling’s accounts, develops annual budgets and contracts, while also supporting staff and students in an administration role. Jenny makes the world’s best lemon slice.
LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
BARBARA BISHOP has more than 30 years’ experience in teaching, training and leadership. She has owned her own RTO, been the CEO of the Qld Rural Industry Training Council, the Director of Emerald Agricultural College and Campus Manager of Dookie College, GOTAFE.
She holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Bachelor of Education (Curriculum Development /Adult Education) and a Diploma of Teaching (Agricultural Science). She is an accredited DISC and Myers Briggs Administrator, a Fellow Member of Institute of Managers & Leaders and a Member Australian Institute of Training and Development.
Barb brings passion for training and extensive experience to our team.
POULTRY CONSULTANT
DR JAFAR PAZANI began working at 4 Up Skilling in 2017 as a consultant guest speaker, new to the vocational education and training sector. He has 20 years’ experience in the industry. This experience includes hands-on farm management and poultry husbandry including broilers, commercial layers, breeder layers, turkey and quail farms; Provision of vaccination programming for broilers, commercial layers, breeder layers, turkey and quail farms; Provision of health, hygiene and biosecurity programming, and management in broilers, commercial layers, breeder layers, turkey and quail farms; and a sound knowledge of incubation and hatchery functions based on poultry embryology.
Jafar also holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences (DVSc) in Poultry Health & Diseases, Avian Diseases Section, Clinical Sciences Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran; postgraduate qualifications in poultry sciences, diseases, health and medicine, including a Master of Avian Health and Medicine (MAHM), Faculty of Veterinary & Agriculture Sciences, University of Melbourne and University of Georgia.
