MANAGING DIRECTOR /OPERATIONS MANAGER – POULTRY

ROBYN RICHARDS

Robyn has worked in the vocational education and training sector for nearly 20 years. During this time, she has worked in the TAFE and private provider sectors, before starting her own training business in 2010. Robyn started 4 Up Skilling with the aim to provide greater flexibility to her industry clients, as well as innovative design in training and assessment that not only engages but inspires her students along the learning journey. At 4 Up Skilling, Robyn works closely with the Australian poultry industry.

Robyn holds a Graduate Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She has several industry qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Agriculture; a Certificate III in Poultry Production; a Diploma of Vet Nursing (surgical); a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing; and a Certificate III in Equine Nursing. She also has a Certificate IV in Frontline Management; and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Education & Training; Robyn is a DISC accredited trainer and a Health & Safety Representative.

Robyn is currently undertaking a Masters of Adult Education, consistent with her passion for training, and commitment to life-long learning.

 

OPERATIONS MANAGER – AGRICULTURE

BRENDAN WHITE 

Brendan has worked in the vocational education and training sector for nearly 20 years, with extensive commercial and managerial experience within the TAFE sector. He began working with 4 Up Skilling in early 2017 and has initiated training for the regional horticulture industry (the cherry and the apple and pear sectors), commercial composting sector, as well as the Victorian pork production industry.

Brendan is passionate about supporting regional horticulture and agriculture industries and works closely in consultation with many sectors throughout the Goulburn Valley, North East and Gippsland areas. Brendan holds a Degree in Biological Sciences; a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; and has completed the Alpine Valley’s Community Leadership Program.

 

QUALITY MANAGER

DANIELLA WHITE 

Daniella has many years’ experience in the vocational education and training sector. She has worked for over ten years for a large regional TAFE in training, coordination and management roles. Daniella’s current role at 4 Up Skilling is focused on quality and compliance. She holds a Graduate Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; a Diploma of Quality Auditing; an Honours Degree in Biological Sciences; and a Certificate in Leadership in Education & Training.

TRAINING CONSULTANT – POULTRY

CLAIRE BARCLAY

Claire began working at 4 Up Skilling in 2016, new to the vocational education and training sector. She has an extensive background in the agriculture industry, being an avid equine enthusiast. Claire is passionate about animal welfare and is a dedicated trainer & assessor. She specialises in work health and safety and is currently completing a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.

Claire holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the vocational qualification, Certificate III in Poultry Production. She currently coordinates many of 4 Up Skilling’s poultry production programs and industry short courses, working closely with our students.

STUDENT ADMINSITRATION OFFICER

More recently, Claire’s role has expanded to include administration support, as she works to support all staff and students.  Claire is often the first point of contact for those new to 4 Up Skilling.

 

TRAINING CONSULTANT – POULTRY

DARREN MCCLURE

Darren began working at 4 Up Skilling in 2017, new to the vocational education and training sector. Darren has a rich history working within the poultry industry for 20 years, at both operational and managerial levels. His industry experience enhances his training and assessment practice, and he is committed to enriching the learning opportunities he provides for his students. Darren is an avid supporter of the poultry industry and has a strong focus on promoting good practice and animal health standards within the poultry sector.

Darren holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the vocational qualification, Certificate III in Poultry Production. He is currently undertaking a Diploma of Agriculture.

 

TRAINING CONSULTANT – PORK

JACINTA CLARK

Jacinta will be joining 4 Up Skilling in April 2019. She has a 10 year history as a trainer & assessor and senior educator in the vocational education and training sector, within the primary industries division. She also has extensive experience in the pork industry, working in the sector for 20 years, undertaking various roles such as Piggery Attendant, Leading Hand, Technical Services Manager, Breeding Manager and Training Manager.

Jacinta holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training Practice. She also has an Associate Diploma in Applied Science – Farm Production.

 

WOOL INDUSTRY SPECIALIST TRAINER

PADDY MCCARTHY

Paddy has worked with 4 Up Skilling since 2015 as a contracted accredited wool classing trainer. Prior to this, he has worked in the vocational training sector for over 20 years.  He has over 30 years’ experience as a professional industry Wool Classer. Being an accredited wool classing trainer with the governing industry body, the Australian Wool Exchange (AWEX), Paddy attends annual training conferences and industry validation meetings to ensure his currency is maintained, in addition to maintaining his wool classer stencil & trainer accreditation. Paddy is highly regarding in his field and an exceptional trainer.

Paddy holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, as well as a Diploma of Technical Teaching. He also has several industry qualifications, including a Diploma of Agriculture; a Course in Wool Classer Development; an Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Wool & Fibre Production); and an Advanced Wool Classing Certificate. Paddy has a Wool Appraiser Accreditation and is a Wool Classing Clipcare Accredited Trainer.

 

FINANCE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

JENNY MARTIN

Jenny is one of our most recent staff members, bringing her passion for accounting to 4 Up Skilling. As a qualified chartered accountant, Jenny has a Bachelor of Commerce and manages 4 Up Skilling’s accounts, while also supporting staff and students in an administration role. Jenny makes the world’s best lemon slice!
