Robyn has worked in the vocational education and training sector for nearly 20 years. During this time, she has worked in the public TAFE and private provider sectors, before starting her own training business in 2010. Robyn started 4 Up Skilling with the aim to provide greater flexibility to her industry clients, as well as innovative design in training and assessment that not only engages but inspires her students along the learning journey. At 4 Up Skilling, Robyn works closely with the Australian Poultry industry. She has demonstrated an excellent capacity to develop strong relationships with industry stakeholders, while solidifying a reputation as a quality niche provider through the provision of technical training to the national poultry sectors (layer & broiler).

Robyn holds a Graduate Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She has several industry qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Agriculture; a Certificate III in Poultry Production; a Diploma of Vet Nursing (surgical); a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing; and a Certificate III in Equine Nursing. She also has a Certificate IV in Frontline Management; and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Education & Training; Robyn is a DISC accredited trainer and a Health & Safety Representative.

Robyn is currently undertaking a Masters of Adult Education, consistent with her passion for training, and commitment to life-long learning.




Brendan has worked in the vocational education and training sector for nearly 20 years, with extensive commercial and managerial experience within the TAFE sector. He began working with 4 Up Skilling in early 2017 and has initiated training for the regional Horticulture industry (the Cherry/Stone Fruits and the Apple and Pear sectors), Commercial Composting sector, as well as the Victorian Pork Production industry.

Brendan is passionate about supporting regional Horticulture and Agriculture industries and works closely in consultation with many sectors throughout the Goulburn Valley, North East and Gippsland areas. Brendan holds a Degree in Biological Sciences; a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; and has completed the Alpine Valley’s Community Leadership Program.

Brendan’s Degree and industry experience has given him a wide level of experience including undergraduate majors in Agriculture, Animal Physiology & Zoology; and minors in Chemistry, Environment Biology (Soil Science) and Biochemistry. He has managed and operated within the viticulture industry prior to joining the VET sector.



JACINTA CLARK – Jacinta has a 10 year history as a trainer & assessor and senior educator in the vocational education and training sector within the primary industries division. She also has extensive experience in the pork industry, working in the sector for 20 years while undertaking various roles such as Piggery Attendant, Leading Hand, Technical Services Manager, Breeding Manager and Training Manager.

Jacinta holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training Practice. She also has an Associate Diploma in Applied Science – Farm Production. As a valued staff member, Jacinta’s key attributes have been the dedication and care she shows to her 4 Up Skilling students.



WENDY BRIDGE – new to 4 Up Skilling in 2020, Wendy has a rich history working within the Poultry industry at both operational and managerial levels. She has held various positions in the layer sector including Farm Manager, Site Manager and Quality Assurance Manager.

Wendy is an avid supporter of the Poultry industry and has had a strong focus on promoting good practice and animal health standards within the sector. Her knowledge of industry enhances her training and assessment practice. She is strongly committed to enriching learning opportunities by providing meaningful relevant outcomes for our industry based students.

Wendy holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the vocational qualifications, Certificate IV in Agriculture, Certificate IV in Leadership & Management, HACCP and Internal Auditing training, and is close to completing her Diploma of Agriculture.



ROBERT SIRRELL has worked for many years in the agriculture sector as a farm manager and began training and assessing in 2007. He has worked for 4 Up Skilling as a contracted registered AusChem Trainer since 2016 and in 2020 he has joined our team to facilitate training across some of our key industry programs. He brings not only his experience, but exceptional organisational skills and high standards of customer care – supporting students and ensuring their learning journey is the best it can be.

Rob has his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and holds an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science, as well as his Agricultural Chemical User’s Permit.



DANIELLA WHITE has many years’ experience in the vocational education and training sector. She has worked in the public TAFE sector, in training, coordination and management roles. Daniella’s current role at 4 Up Skilling is focused on quality and compliance. She holds a Graduate Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; a Diploma of Quality Auditing; an Honours Degree in Biological Sciences; and a Certificate in Leadership in Education & Training.

As a Quality Manager, Daniella’s key responsibilities are to support 4 Up Skilling to maintain compliance to its key Government stakeholders, including the national regulator, ASQA. She has built 4 Up Skilling’s  business processes and information management systems and is committed to supporting staff in offering quality services.



SHANNON ROACH is the newest member of our team. Her  administration role aims to support all students and our training team.  Shannon is often the first point of contact for those new to 4 Up Skilling. It is a pivotal role that binds our staff team and helps us work to our full potential!

Shannon holds a Master of International Development practise and a Batchelor of Behavioural Science. She is key to maintaining positive relationships with many of our industry stakeholders and is an active member of our local community.



JENNY MARTIN brings her passion for accounting to 4 Up Skilling! As a qualified chartered accountant, Jenny has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and manages 4 Up Skilling’s accounts, develops annual budgets and contracts, while also supporting staff and students in an administration role. Jenny makes the world’s best lemon slice. 



BARB BISHOP has more than 30 years’ experience in teaching, training and leadership. She has owned her own RTO, been the CEO of the Qld Rural Industry Training Council, the Director of Emerald Agricultural College and Campus Manager of Dookie College, GOTAFE.

She holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Bachelor of Education (Curriculum Development /Adult Education) and a Diploma of Teaching (Agricultural Science). She is an accredited DISC and Myers Briggs Administrator, a Fellow Member of Institute of Managers & Leaders and a Member Australian Institute of Training and Development.

Barb brings passion for training and extensive experience to our team.



DR MARY COLE is a well-known academic and plant pathologist and nationally and internationally recognised expert in the management of the fungal pathogen, Botrytis cinerea. In 1980 Mary founded Agpath Pty Ltd, a small soil biology company providing laboratory testing in many fields of fungal and microbial pathology and farming consulting services in agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, environment air and water and food manufacturing.

Since 2017, she has worked as a Composting training consultant for 4 Up Skilling, and has been an Honorary Senior fellow, Faculty of Veterinary & Agricultural science, University of Melbourne, training international graduates in agricultural engineering in all aspects of biological farming, compost making, compost tea making, soil microbiology leading to soil health by minimising use of chemical salts in agricultural farming systems around the world.

Mary has an extensive list of publications (papers, books, reports), presentations, media activities, consulting projects, committee work and industry memberships, collaborations, funding grants, research, employment and teaching experience. She holds her Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, a PhD from Monash University (funded by grant from RIRDC – carried out with SARDI & UCLA, Davis, USA), a Bachelor of Science, Gippsland Institute of Advanced Education/Monash University and a Diploma of Agricultural Science, University of Technology, Brisbane, QLD.



DR JAFAR PAZANI began working at 4 Up Skilling in 2017 as a consultant guest speaker, new to the vocational education and training sector. He is a poultry specialist veterinarian registered in Victoria, having more than 15 years’ experience in the industry. This experience includes hands-on farm management and poultry husbandry including broilers, commercial layers, breeder layers, turkey and quail farms; Provision of vaccination programming for broilers, commercial layers, breeder layers, turkey and quail farms; Provision of health, hygiene and biosecurity programming, and management in broilers, commercial layers, breeder layers, turkey and quail farms; and a sound knowledge of incubation and hatchery functions based on poultry embryology.

Jafar also holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences (DVSc) in Poultry Health & Diseases, Avian Diseases Section, Clinical Sciences Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran; postgraduate qualifications in poultry sciences, diseases, health and medicine, including a Master of Avian Health and Medicine (MAHM), Faculty of Veterinary & Agriculture Sciences, University of Melbourne and University of Georgia.

Jafar is a highly respected and valued member of the team.



LEON CARTER first joined 4 Up Skilling in 2019 as a contractor. Leon is an experienced farmer, who produces hay and lamb which he supplies locally to butcher shops and private customers. Leon specialises in agriculture accredited and non-accredited short course delivery and Agriculture School Based Apprentice and Trainee programs. He founded Ag Skills Victoria in 2015 to recruit young new entrants into the sector, managing their program delivery, training and assessment as part of an “Ag Schools” program.

Leon is a dedicated skilled trainer who aims to provide the highest standard of education and training in Agriculture. He ensures anyone who wishes to learn can, no matter what obstacles. He aims to empower others and loves to watch them succeed with highly practical hands on training solutions for young people in agriculture.

Leon holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and various vocational qualifications including a Certificate III in Agriculture, Certificate IV in Agriculture, a Diploma of Equine Breeding (Stud Management) and a Certificate III Equine Nursing. Leon is the Director for Alpine Valley’s Community Leadership board, a member of the Agriculture & Agribusiness Advisory Council for Wangaratta, and a member of Victorian Farmers Federation.
