Course Overview
This AgVet Chemical User Course provides training for safe chemical use, storage and handling & is required to apply for an Agricultural Chemical User Permit (ACUP). The AgVet Chemical User Course is a nationally accredited training activity and can be completed as a Skill Set.
o AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases
o AHCCHM304 Transport, handle and store chemicals
The training topics include:
- Chemical legislative requirements
- Recording procedures
- Safe use of chemicals & protective equipment
- Chemical preparation, storage, transport, disposal & clean up
- Spray application & modes of action
Estimated Duration
Training is delivered face to face over 3 days and online delivery maybe delivered over 1-3 months.
